Hey all i have a few questions....i have searched am well ovit it!

Alright
1 does the whole diff asslembly bolt straight from a wt to a nt? as in are the spring plate doovers in the same spot?
2 the transfer case and gearbox are the same? just different length drive shafts?
3 do nt and wt springs fit in the hangers?

Spring perches on diffs are different.
Transfer case will be different depend on what year model Nt your talking about
Springs will fit in the hanger. Wt and Nt are the same

1 . no , also the ratio's are different if you are only changing 1 diff...
2 . the transfer uses different flanges but are the same , you can change the flanges , or you can use the wt intermediate shaft and short slip joints off the wt for front and rear driveshafts . the gearbox is the same but may have more switches which were used for emmision control etc , dont worry about plugging them in , it will work fine

You'l need to sort out a hand brake too.

NTs have them on the transfer and WTs have them on the back wheels.

You could run no handbrake on the WT diffs and continue to use the NT trans brake.

keeping in mind the NT uses two lines to the rear diff, the WT uses one right!?

Im toyin around...there is a nt long wheel base on ebay with no motor or gear box....just thinkin i could pretty much chuck everything from mine in complete diffs and all and then just get longer drive shafts.....

any way still early days!

i fix this by using NT master cycinder on one side and taking a little bit off the top of the WT back brake shoes. or you could just use your NT shoes, not to sure if this will work for WT rear handbrake as i used my NT T-case drum handbrake.

Or use N/T rear backing plat's & brake's......
W/t NEED'S the H/brake to "self adjust", with out it you out of peddle all the time

Op..... the n/t & w/t perch's are in different position's, need to be moved & the inner driver's side U bolt will need to be replaced with a longer one...
