So I killed my CV.

I didn't read the thread about the CV swap. So today I decided to bash my CV's apart when I realised I did this.

Now I can't get the inner bearing set up out to put the clips in.

What on earth can I do ?

Is that the inner CV you have the photo of? If so did you pull the snap-ring out of the cup first? I can't see from the photo if it's still in there. If the snap-ring is out, the whole thing should just slide out with the axle still attached.

If that's the outer CV then that's what it's supposed to do.

I think the snap ring is still visible here betweent the arrows? This needs to be pulled out before you try to pull the ball cage etc. out.

It's basicly a piece of spring steel wire that sits in the groove, you should be able to find an end to make it easier to pull it out.

Buddies. You have eyes of a god. I looked for hours and couldnt see any clips. Untill you pointed it out.
Helps if you know what to look for and when things aren't covered in grease.
