So I killed my CV. I didn't read the thread about the CV swap. So today I decided to bash my CV's apart when I realised I did this.
Now I can't get the inner bearing set up out to put the clips in. What on earth can I do ? |

What on earth can I do ? Is that the inner CV you have the photo of? If so did you pull the snap-ring out of the cup first? I can't see from the photo if it's still in there. If the snap-ring is out, the whole thing should just slide out with the axle still attached. If that's the outer CV then that's what it's supposed to do. |

I think the snap ring is still visible here betweent the arrows? This needs to be pulled out before you try to pull the ball cage etc. out.
It's basicly a piece of spring steel wire that sits in the groove, you should be able to find an end to make it easier to pull it out. |

Buddies. You have eyes of a god. I looked for hours and couldnt see any clips. Untill you pointed it out. Helps if you know what to look for and when things aren't covered in grease. |
