I'm about to put together a LROR order to hopefully get some stuff when i'm off shift next - just going through my list of 'shitty bits to replace', i'm wondering if these steering column covers are compatible with my new '92 Sierra soft top.

http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.ph ... overs.html

It looks like it'd fit my hardtop perfectly, but in my soft top the surround looks slightly different. Can I buy one of these and make it fit, or will that require yanking out and fitting my hardtop's steering column?

If it's an easy fix i'll put it on the list... too hard and i'll scratch the idea.

I'm hoping they do cause I was keen to get one for my 89 hard top too :)

Hopefully someone can shed some light on it!

lhd the keys are still on the right. Blinkers are opposite most likely. The Elantra that i drove was opposite...

It depends on the make of car as to if they move the position of the switches.

In my LHD Jimny the wipers are on the right and indicator on the left.

The jeep only had one and it was on the left. The carolla we hired was the other way, wipers on the left, indicators on the right.

Blinker/wiper Orientation isn't the problem, it's the position of the ignition barrel. They must relocate the ignition barrel in later WTs for some reason.

92 onwards cars with the SUZUKI plug in the indicator hole in the front guards have a different ignition switch to earlier WT's.
