Hi i have been looking at buying a lwb sierra soft top but i dont want the soft top i would like to make it a hard top and come down just behind the drivers seat to make it into a hard top but cab with a tub ute type end. I would just like to know more about the conversions the only thing is the sierra im looking at is on gas so the tank sits right behind the front seats

you are talking about a maruti fibre glass top.
very hard to find
depending on where the tank is it either will or will not fit.
or you can get a sustom canvas cover made so it will be like a maruti top but canvas, $$ but probab;y quicker than finding a maruti top.

Another option would be to graft the c-pillar and rear door from a hard top swb sierra onto the LWB body. Lots of work, but IMO it would look great ( if done properly)

I'm sure there is enough slack in the gas line to be able to relocate it 100 or 200mm rearwards. Even if there isn't, a gasfitter or LPG shop shouldn't charge much to extend it.
