Just wondering what is the shortest Jackshaft that anyone has used when putting a Vitara Box automan or simlar drive train change when still running a Sierra transfer case???

I'm looking at 150mm flange to flange because I moved the eng/auto back about 35mm.

From what I can tell it will be touch and go just to make one this length due to the length and shape of the yolk.

I am really trying to avoid moving the TC back if possible.

Any help and more so expirience will be great to hear.

if the link works it is the fitting instructions for TT's auto into sierra kit and give the
dimensions for the jack shaft.

Thanks Red 89.

I think your on to something!
That Small jackshaft above would be 80mm Center to center So Im only about 10mm out now. I reckon there is a chance I could slightly adjust the TC on its mounts and perhaps to as they have done in the trail tough set up that Shep posted and knock out the center off the shaft which slides onto the rear of the auto. Will have to make up one like the above and have a dummy fit.

better not today tho, the mrs is going on about all the xmas stuff and blah blah!
