Hey guys. just wondering what model jeeps flares can be made to suit the sierra ? .... and is it easy ti remove factory wt flares

Dunno about the jeep flares, but taking off the factory ones are piss easy. They just unbolt from the body :)

Jeep TJ flares are commonly used.

Personally, I think they look terrible (and I even ran them for a while) but some people like them.

i put em on because I was sick of repairing w/t flare's, fitted em for the flexible side of em, but ended up liking the look....

I run rear's on all corner's, the one on the front have to be trimmed down, but that's no drama....

That's the same reason I ran them, but they fell apart anyway, so I was left with double ugly - an inherently ugly flare that was broken.

It puzzles me that it is so hard to find a 6" wide sierra flare that doesn't make me want to poke my own eyes out and doesn't fall apart.

Defender Flares are also a good option, and there are lots of options including chrome ones.

just be careful not to get ones that are combo ones that replace the liner inside the wheel arch and only attach to the outside.

Glad someone has tried them! I thought they would suit ages ago but have never had the chance to test fit some.

edit: just clicked to use samurai instead of sierra, should of learnt that by now :crazy:

I have had some sittin here for a while.....my wt ones are dinted to the shit!

The tj ones ya gotta cut guard out or else they look rediculous.... so i have just left my beatin up ones on there....the tj ones can wait for a rainey day!
