hey guys ive downgraded to a patrol as my brother wrote of my zook recently and this thing popped up cheap as chips anyway it petrol/lpg i notoced that the flash lube hose had come of the side of carby so i reconnected it and noticed it was dripping slightly fast,
and now it is giving a constant flow of thick white smoke, is this just unburnt flash lube/valve saver escaping throught the exhaust?
tried posting this in tha nissan forumn but having trouble with account so i thought if anyone has had any experiance with lpg on shitboxes
cheers luke

How much is it using? Did you put it back on where it came off? Sounds like its sucking too much out

yeh i put it back were it came from havent run it for very long as im unsure if this will do more damage,
but yes it was a nearly constant flow so i image it is using way to much so it would burning the flash lube hence the reason he white smoke?

I would say the smoke is just the lube burning. Does it have some kind of limiter?

he said it only started pumping out the white smoke when he reconnected the hose back up.......

mabey it has a flow regulating valve that has buggered up causing it to flow rather than drip..... check all hoses and everything on the system to make sure.

There should be a needle valve in the top of a small clear chamber from memory. You should adjust it so it drips I think about 5 drips a minute?

Disconnect the flashlube and go for a 20-30 minute drive.
This should burn out any excess oil.
Reconnect the flashlube setup and set at a drop every 5 seconds or 12 drops per minute.
Install instructions

Excess upper cylinder lube can build up in the rocker gear so I'd suggest an engine oil change as soon as you get it sorted.
