The LJ doesn't idle well at all. It sounds quite rough, like it's not getting the right mixture of air/fuel. I took out the air filter and it idled absolutely fine, which begs the question - perhaps the filter needs a clean? I may have answered my own question, but who has experience with carby tuning that can give me some answers as to what it could be? cheers |

Hi mate, first post today and you have an LJ, interesting. Mate I have not had one apart for a few months but inside the carbie, (maybe on the end of the needle and seat) there is a small mesh filter screen tube that pushes on, this often gets gunked up and causes havok. Tell us more about your LJ |
