hey guys looking at buying a supercharged f10a engine to suit a carry van, im wonding with the way its set up if it will fit into my ute without massive headaches, here is a link to the old ad on ebay for it.

just want to know what would be involved in making it fit and if it will in fact fit as is or if i would be wasting time and money

dont they mount up on an angle ? isnt the gearbox pattern on the block sideways or something??? anyway its only down the road from a few of us gong zookers so let us know if you need something

i think its the belhousing on the box that is skewed, the block should be the same im hoping. i was going 2 come and take a look at it but i dont want 2 spend the money if its going 2 becme something i have to try sell again

Basically, use the sump, oil pickup and manifolds from your Sierras F10a and it should be good to go. :)

From the looks of the photos the 'charger is going to be all over the steering shaft, chassis etc once it's stood up vertical.

In any case, I don't think this is a really viable supercharger installation - I'd suggest despite undoubtedly tipping money at the motor, the hard part still hasn't been done - it has't been sorted. 10PSI of pressure drop though the carby?

For what the owner is chasing for this motor you could swap in a G16, maybe even EFI if you were good at scrounging from pull-it-yourself wreckers. It would be less hassle than trying to get that combination sorted.

i had the same thoughts bout where the supercharger will end up. i know there is the option of finding a g16b or using all the running gear from blue zook when i eventually get round to turning that into a buggy, i was looking at it because it doesnt require any changes to the mounts on the chassis and it will be half original lol
