Basically I want an easy way to have a comfy seat again as my 99 seat has developed an uncomfotable metal feel on 1 side plus dodgy soft padding for lower back.

From what I have read here and other places, seat mods are not easy (partly due to seat rails being fixed to seat).

So am hoping that a simple swap from a late model crashed Jim would do the trick.

Anyone compared the seat rails between old/new?
