Repco don't list the correct spigot bearing for the 1.0L. It's a 10 x 15 x 15 needle roller and it's OD makes it too hard for the local bearing shop. Anyone got any ideas other than Suzistore? |

thats a prick of a size. i would say a sinted bronze bush would be the go |

Have you actually got the motor out yet? Most (Many? Some??) F10A cranks are drilled with a stepped spigot bore. They have a deep hole to accept a long gearbox shaft and the needle roller bearing, and also a shallower, wider hole that accepts a 6300 sealed roller bearing that was also used on the 1.3. The 6300 bearing also has a 10mm ID and sits further along the input shaft, meaning that if you have worn the part of the shaft that the needle roller runs on, by changing over to a 6300 ball bearing, you get a "New" bearing shaft surface! |

I was equally worried that the shorter shaft of the 5sp may be a problem. Do you think the short shaft with the needle roller bearing will be a mismatch? |

i would say a sinted bronze bush would be the go Can you buy sintered bronze in solid pieces do you know? I have a lathe(not that I'm that good at using it) and could make one if that's the best option |
