| Post subject: | G13a into maruti |
Hi all, I'm slowly collecting the parts needed to swap a G13A into my '90 maruti mg410 NT LWB. I already have a G13A + 5speed and a donor chassis for engine and radiator mounts, I also have other little bits like radiator brackets, accelerator pedal etc. A few things I'm not sure about are: -My car has the large case 4spd and switched transfer, I'm guessing this means that the transmission tunnel will fit the 5spd ok? -I don't have the 5spd yoke or jackshaft, will the yoke from my late model 'large case' 4spd box fit the 5spd? If it does it would solve any uni/transfer flange issues as well. -I read something about the voltage regulators being different, one is internal one is external, can anybody tell me more about how to get around this? Thanks in advance. |

Christover posted up a while ago about how to bridge the terminals in the plug near the glovebox when running 1.3 internally regged alt in a 1.0. |

Thanks want33s, I found christovers posts and think I know how to sort out the alternator now. I was able to get some trans tunnel measurements and it looks like the maruti is the same as WT. Still don't know about the gearbox yoke. If anybody can help it would be appreciated, It would be nice to know if I need to find parts before I pull her apart. Thanks. |

being a maruti it should have an internal voltage reg like a 1.3 it should also have elec ignition instead of points. |
