ok so this stopped work long ago, figured it was a fuse, now today i started looking, found rear blower fuse, was fine, power both sides, replaced anyway. then at the rear assembly (fan and ducting) i found a little wierd black fuse thing, so i just bridged it, and it clicked a relay under the fan, but the fan didnt start, am i missing something else? im just about to put power to the fan and see if it actually works but the button to enable the rear, just infront of the shifter, doesnt light up when turned on either, like it used to, any help please! I think that black thing's a resistor. Have you checked ALL the fuses??? Dropping power in the fan's fine, as long at it's unplugged from the car..... |

Doesn't stop anyone else...... Give the motor 12v & see if it goes, if it does I'd be looking at the switch.. Are there control's in the back??? |

yeah on the roof, it used to be tempremental, we would have the roof switch on 100% of the time, and use the button to activate it. and sometimes it wouldnt work and go more and more tempremental then stopped, maybe the button? |

It also does self diagnosis, & the only way to check code's is with a Tech2 scan tool... get your wallet out...

yeah it was connected in the front of the battery where im pointing, the fuse says A/C, so i assume its a A/C relay and its all melted, possible cause? is there a relay i can temporarily swap in to test? |

if you don't like that relay go for it...... sound's like the rear blower's drawing to much current, but normally the fuse would blow |

they are all blue, at the fan is blue and white stripe, and blue and yellow stripe,
yellow a stripe splits into the top of the fan box
white stripe goes to a plug at the tail light

the click from the black thing being earthed is the valve to allow the aircon gas to flow into the blower from the looks of it on the last picture where the 2 aircon pipes go in |
yellow a stripe splits into the top of the fan box
take the 2 screw's out of that & remove, see if you can see any damage |
