Hey guys... I'm possibly going to look at an 86 Sierra tomorrow, swb hardtop. It's done 190,000km and looks pretty clean and straight from the pics I've seen... Just wondering if anyone has any advice on anything in particular I should be on the lookout for? Apart from the usual things, are there any specific rust spots or mechanical issues I should be mindful of? I'd appreciate any help! Cheers, Jim |

im not 100% sure if that would be a narrow track model and if it is wether or not the sills would be the same as a wide track, but yeah if they are the same then check under the plastic sills below the doors and around the wind screen area, another idea is to use a good magnet to check the the metal below the paint is in good condition, take it for a good drive and check that 4wd all works no worries other guys will have more to say tho good luck with it Jesse |
