My new zero torque Sierra has hiccups when I am asking it to be torquey.

I know this is not in it's nature but when about 2-3k revs and asking it to accelerate it doesnt just go "BurRghh" like it has walked into a pit of thick mud instead it has violent hiccups as if mis-firing or as if the exhaust was blocked off for a split second.

Gonna change the plugs and have a look at the carby but I was wondering if you guys might suggest something else for me to inspect ?

seems to be worse going up a hill but then that could just be the extra inertia to battle with a pimpsqueak motor?

I won't do anything too major though because I have decided the first mod to my standard flaming gay colored zook will be a G16 engine but for now I would like it atleast drivable.

Thanks

awww palm trees! how very.. um...Ghey.. lol..

almost sounds like a break down in either the plugs/leads or coil.. !? still the OME carby or has it been swapped over? are all the vacume lines in a decent(non leaking) condition? no air leaks around the carby?

keep us posted mate. if you are up for bits.. let the melbourne crew know and we may just have the bit you require.. be it loan or sell.. no point replacing things if it dosnt fix the issue, right!?!

thanks guys :)

I will have a look at those things on Monday and go one by one so I know when I have caught the bugger that was causing the problems :)

and I will be sure to post pics when those horrible stickers (including the one that says "Tropical" taken off and the purple top painted black.

Cheers
