So theoretically if someone rolled their Vitara last night.... Just wondering what kind of steps are required to separate the shell from the chassis? I have installed a body lift, and it was a matter of removing all of the bolts in the body studs and slightly separating the two. What would I need to do to completely remove the shell? Are there any step-by-step guides for this? |

Will get some pics up soon, but the body is a write-off. Cracked pillars, etc. The original plan was to get the other body and swap it over, but it looks like I may have to just cut my losses, sell the good parts and start again. I still feel that I could do it, but I don't have the skills or time to do it by myself. Not sure what I should do, but I'll post some pics up soon. |

Time is a killer, if you can't take the time (because the lack of) to do it right don't do it at all. Maybe just buy again and not roll it |

A very valid point. I've got a fair few (hopefully) desirable parts for Vit drivers, so hopefully I could recoup enough to get something little and go from there. |

Take good parts off the wreck and put onto another body/chassis unit is easier |
