I had a minor crash into a guys towbar and was wondering what kind of repair will be done to fix a bent chassis front cross section. Its not bad but has made the cross section touch the power steering hose. has moved about 1cm back on the left side.

Your talking about the front pipe that goes through the front of the chassis. Is it effecting your drivabillity in any way or making the car unsafe to drive? 1cm is much so I would worry about it. You could try straighting it out some how

It's pushed back enough so the sway bar is not square now and the cross section is touching the power steering line behind it on one side.... Just wondering what a standard panel beater/repairer would do. It doesn't effect the driveability but if I know it's bent I won't want to keep it

Cut it out and replace it. Chassis re-alignment is a dieing art, so the chances of it being straightened are slim.
Can you take it to your local RACQ, RACV, NRMA inspection centre? They have chassis alignment machines that can detect chassis damage, twist, etc by use of lasers......similar to a laser wheel alignment. Might be worth checking that the chassis isn't diamond shaped. ( one rail pushed backwards. )
