the closest i know for simex would be ace tyres at murrarie. As for motorway, when i got my mongrels the only dealers in qld were LJ tyres at virginia and neta tyres at northgate which arent even close to the GC so unless theyve changed distributors then id say youve got a bit of a drive ahead of you..

ok got some prices today
mongrels for 138ea
simex muds for 158ea
silverstone 117 sports for 200ea
nevs simex et's used 90%app for 800x4
now comes the decision. what to buy? anyone got any favorites?

Mongrels are retreads. They seem to be ok and I have not really heard a bad thing about them really. I guess it's all about the coin. Casper has Simex ET's and they are great. JMO

I would buy MTR's  cause I dont do mud
Mongrels might look like a chunky tyre but the rubber quality is crap, its the rubber that gives you grip on evrything but mud
