if its a WT (3.7) you could go to NT (3.9) centres and gain a bit back. but 215/75R15 is so close to stock its hardly work the effort. Only 15mm in diameter difference from my rough calculations. |

If you don't plan on getting any bigger tyres down the track, I'd probably go 4.16:1 transfer gears. Should be great off road. May rev a little harder on the freeway. |

*BUMP* If I was to leave the F10a in (4 speed) Would this option be a help or pain in the arse?? What are the tran gear options for the 1lt? Cheers *Did have a look on search but couldnt really find the info i wanted* |

I'm a little bit confused. It's always helpful if you provide all the details of your current setup when asking a question. As you have an F10a and 4 speed, I assume you also have a 1.0 transfer case. If you do, it already has the same high range gearing as all of the 4:1-4.9:1 transfer gears = 1.55:1 So you could fit transfer gears to roughly double your low range and there would be no effect on high range. However, if your transfer case does not have a 4WD light, it can't accept any aftermarket transfer gears. Hope that helps. |
