OME make a shock to suit their 40mm lift, if you're after something longer you'll need to look at other options. do you specifically need the OME shock? check out the vitara/commodore shock thread in goodtech viewtopic.php?f=17&t=13142 |

Thanks atari I just wanted to. Get a bigger shock absorber Thant the tough dog one because I just got some 30mm coil spacers and I want to be able to make it flex that little bit more |

They're a straight bolt on fit. No mucking around with the bushes. They're a Munroe shock #WR2T (If i remember rightly) and they work well with my 50mm lift king springs. Springs are pretty stiff though. |

They're standard Falcon XR6 series II shocks made by munroe and the part number is wr2t-18080. I don't know the open or closed lengths, here's a pic. The white shock is the pedders comfort shock that was in there when I got the car. The red one is falcon. The black spring is OEM the yellow is king. Haven't tried it in the bush yet but it's pretty stiff on the road and seems to handle pretty well. This setup gave me an unloaded lift of 65mm and cost $20. Ok the shocks were free.
