Hi all, Is anybody able to identify this tow bar? If so, what do I need to attach and where can I get it? It's on an 87 sierra. ![]() I've exhaustively searched these forums and the internet and cannot find any info on anything suitable to mount onto it apart from this in the UK where the holes look like they would slightyly not line up: http://tiny.cc/tkfl3 Also, I am planning on purchasing a Grip Sport Hi-Ride Carrier. http://tiny.cc/ftdd1 Any help would be great! I get the feeling I'm going to have to cut it off or completely replace it. Cheers. |

wolf_rt wrote: you sure theres not just a flat plate for a regular tongue under there??? ![]() Thanks, wolf_rt, I appreciate it. Makes perfect sense to me now! As you can see, I am an amateur with tow bars. Hopefully somebody else will locate this thread to solve their problem. I'm certain you are correct, but I'm unable to get to my zook for a few more days to find out. I just needed to research it all before making a purchase. Cheers. |

Yep, wolf is right. I'm pretty sure I've got that exact same towbar kicking around at home and it runs a bolt on tongue like in the picture. The tongue was bent though so I'm in the same boat as you. |
