I have a new to me 8/84 1 liter as a daily. It has a g13a motor in it. The motor Is fine, heads a little rattly but goes hard. The carbie that is on it is a butchered g13a one. Like everything on it is blocked with a screw in the vacuum lines and there are springs going everywhere holding shit open or closed. Now the carbie won't idle. Or if it does it sounds like its idling at about 2000 rpm. The car runs fine and pulls like a freight train returning 12.6 liters to 100k but also pushed the little bugger up to 125km/h and still pulling (gps). Now I put a g13ba manifold and carbie on today that was pulled off a completely working fine car. The carbie just being rebuilt and ran smooth as. However on my car it idled at about 1500rpm and couldn't turn the idle up or down. The car also pulls no where near what it did before, won't idle 1/5 times at traffic lights and feels like it has a minute surge that is continual. Not a shutter, just like waves on a beach.

Does anybody have a diagram of what needs to be blocked off on a 1 liter to g13a loom. Like the emmissions stuff to make it run 'normally'? Any help is appreciated.

Could the accelerator cable be holding the throttle up instead of it resting on the screw? Also any manifold gasket leaks?
