hey guys last week whilst driving to work i stoped in a nearby bush for a bit of a mess around, anyway i found a nice step about 3 foot so i tackled it and got up no worrys.
Once up i did a turn and lined my self up to go back down but when i put my foot on the brake just before i went down it fell straight to the floor and i flew down the step.
A mate of mine told me that because i was driving for so long the brake fluid started to over heat and eventualy turn into a gas thus loosing brake pressure?
He said he had seen a few guys come into work with the same problem.
But yesterday i was driving for about 15 minuts when i got to the yatch club i drove into the car park turned to face the water to revers park and again as i lined up and put my foot on the brake to start reversing the brake fell to the floor and i rolled forward and nearly over the drop off into the water.
so iv checked all the brake lines and they arnt being restricted and i just put brand new brake pads in 2 weeks ago.
any ideas?

I bet you turned the same direction both times, one of your front wheel bearings is loose and when you turn the rotors moves sideways and pushes the pad back so you have to pump it back out

mine has been doing it for ages, but I am lazy and just remember dont turn tight that way

After you have adjusted the wheel bearings then bleed the brakes.

The bit about overheating the fluid is crap. If the fluid is old it will have absorbed water. When the brakes heat up the water in the fluid can boil. It creates brake fade, hard pedal but not enough pressure to the brakes (makes it harder to pull up). It won't cause no pedal.
