Here a tridon EP34 is what works. It's a digital relay/timed flasher relay, so it does not work on resistance, I wonder if part numbers re the same across oceans?

Who was that through monley? That's the style I'm after.

I fitted LED's all round and just changed to an electronic flasher can. Pulled old one out and plugged new one in. NO rewiring.

Maybe thats whats causing me such a drama, because im only changing the front parkers/indicators :lol:

Where's the best/cheapest place to buy led lights. I'm looking for some slimline stop/tail indicator and reverse lights. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Autobarn stocks the LED Autolamps brand. I've bought some and can't complain. They are a completely sealed unit.

Sorry to hijack the thread man, but what about flasher relays? Has anyone found a straight swap yet for LEDs? I spoke to Royce about it and I'm a bit unsure of how to change the wiring around in the housing. So if anyone could help with this too it's be great

Just go to your local auto parts store with the old flasher relay and ask for a non-load sensing flasher.

I got 4 of these for $110 All ARD approved and they come in about 4 different length's i think (they also do a reverser light).

You just need an electronic relay, you will need to swap some wires around though. If all your lights are LED some electronic relays don't seem to work because of the tiny load on them so you need to run a load resistor from indicator signal to ground for both left and right.

Yeah im trying to avoid resistors if i can. Unless theres little inline ones... Talking to laurie about it, hes used a 2 flasher pin relay and that seems to have worked some how? If i was to go down the resistors path, what rating would i be looking for?

Here in the U.S. it is a generic replacement for several different rigs, it is a new style they started selling instead of the old style. They work very well with LED's it is the one I am running. So if the part numbers cross over, that's the one that works. Plug and play. FWIW Resistors get hot, can start fires, and are in general a real pain in the ass. I tried them first as they were on the rack so I just grabbed them. They relay were a PITA. Hence the tridon EP-34

Flasher cans work on a specified resistance. That is why they typically flash faster when one bulb is blown and won't work at all if both bulbs are blown on one side. LED's have next to no resistance so a normal flasher can will flash REALLY fast.
