so i took my sierra to a mechanic mate and to look at the carby, it has a vacume leak from the bottom gasket?? He also fiddled with the idle coz it wouldnt idle. Got like 2ks up the road and when i died, when i start it it idles but when i accelerate the revs just slightly pick up and then dies, pumping the accelerator eventualy picks the revs up. Any ideas?? |

so did you fix the vacuum leak or just adjust the idle. also try tighting the 4 bolts on top of the. |

Sounds like either air or fuel starvation, so hopefully get the carby sorted and it'll go away? |
