hey all
im thinking about changing my diffs over for my coming engine conversion, im not sure how the old 1.0 litre diffs will cope.
going to be either running a ca18de or g16b.

from my experience, when we did it to my mates it all bolted in except the shafts where not the correct lengths anymore, so is there anyway to get away with putting them in with out getting custom front and rear tail shafts? or are the 1litre diffs fine with that sort of power increase?

Cheers

If your 1.0 transfer has a 4wd switch you can fit NT 1.3 flanges to it and then run stock NT 1.3 shafts.

I have a few NT 1.3 front shafts here.
I can sell you two... one for the front and one to take to a shop to get lengthened.

Are you sure? I tried doing this and they wouldn't fit. I had to change the yokes to 1.0 instead. Maybe I have some random 1.0 transfer with 4wd switch.
Could be just WT flanges fit unless someone can confirm 1.3 NT and 1.3 WT flanges are identical... :?

You had me thinking I stuffed up for a second but the flanges must be interchangeable between all 3 switched cases (1.0, 1.3NT & 1.3WT) because they all take the same aftermarket gearsets and shafts...

so the front length will be fine? its just the rear that will need to be lengthened?
