G'day -

Would there be any problem with hammering the pinch under the sill flat, so I can fit some angle under there, or is cutting it off ok?

I want to make some sliders similar to the shrockworks ones..

Possibly be a good rust collector if you hammer them flat, don't think you will cut them off unless you can seal them again.

They do have drain gaps in the seams too so carefull not to block them.
