I have a little question about the jimny power steering pump. I tried to ask this in my build thread but must have got lost.

Anyway I got the pump installed the other day but I could only get it to mount upside down. Now will this affect the performance of the pump in anyway. or reduce its life?

They are that way up in a vitara, although the return elbow points up not down.

Since it is dark outside and wont be able to see much, would it be possible to take it off and turn it around ?? or would it be ok like that

Might be possible to flip it, Or use parts from a swift/baleno or smething. The pumps are pretty generic.

4 litres would be overkill, but you would have spare for touch ups and repairs 8)

yeah 4 litres was like $100 so with discount it would be $50 bargain :) gotta think what color now :)

my hard top and GV took about 1.5 litres external only. 3 coats for the h/t and 4 for the top half of the GV.
extra is good to have.
4 litres for $50 is good. mine was $47.
although i wish i had have got mine in 1 litre cans as i would still have two sealed rather than 1 x 4 litre can half full
