How hard would the mods be to shove the 3.2L out of a 2010 GV into a 2000 GV? besides the obvious computer issue.

My guess is you'd need the gearbox aswell.

Is yours a 2L or 2.5L? Either way, the maximum NA motor you can fit to the 2.5L is 3.075L.......so the 3.2 is over sized. You'll need to consult an engineer first.

Isn't the 3.2 a variant of the GM Alloytech motor? That's going to be a TONNE of work to fit. The easy bit is the motor mounts, sump, exhaust, cooling. The hard bit will be wiring it. Consider that the engine is from a completely different series of car, and therefore I imagine that it's going to be just as hard as fitting any motor from any other brand of car. If that's the case, why not start with the 3.6 Alloytech commodore motor... or an LS motor.... or an Aurion V6?
