hey guys, i have a 93 sierra with 2" lift, 2" extended shackles. it has the standard 1.3l in it and im running 31"x10.5"x15" AT/z with no reduction gears. when on the motor way it is maxed out at around 85km/h in 4th gear go to put it into 5th and drop back too about 70km/h and cant get anything more outta it. why would this be so? any help would be great. cheers. |

You've answered your own question ...... You have 31" tyres and no reduction gears to compensate for it. |

85km/hr on the speedo, running 31s is actually 100km/hr for starters... so take that into account. As for why thats as quick as it'll go, you answered your own question when you said you didnt have reduction gears =) |

i don't go by my speedo because i know that its out i take my speed by my natsav that i have. and yeah i did think that it was because i have no reduction gears. what reduction gears would be recommended? and a good place to pick them up from? |
