Short answer..... YES. Long answer.... 88 was he changeover year so there's complcations. You may have to swap the flanges. |

his asking about the case im selling. my sierra is a wide track make a diffrence ? if mine is a wide track and his is a 93 wide track they shouled just bolt straight on right ? |

WT into WT is a direct bolt in. NT into WT or WT into NT will need input and front flanges to be swapped. |

thats what i thought i know mine is a wt and his being a 93 has to be wide track aswell.. |

Early 1988 (if the donor car has plastic flares) has a NT bolt pattern on the flanges so the flanges would have to be swapped. Steve. |

Exactly as Want33's said because 1988 is the year Suzuki changed from NT to WT some have NT flanges and some have WT flanges. It won't matter because you can just change your flanges over off your old transfer if they are the wrong ones. |

Just a side question guys, the NT transfers with the handbrake? Are they able to be removed so then its the same as a WT if the flanges are changed? |

Manaroo if you get into problems let me know, Im in Bdale for a month. If you end up needing to swap the flanges just get a local mechanic to rattle gun them off and it should be dam easy from there. |

I have a coily . I want to put a 1.3 Litre transfer case in it as my coily one is stuffed . I've taken the coily case out and I have noticed that the transfer shaft flange is smaller on the 1.3 transfer so I went to swap the flanges from the coily case onto the 1.3l case and when I put the flanges on the 1.3l case they fit but they are too short not allowing the nut to tighten then up has anyone else had this problem ? |

So the only way I could make do is to make up some spacers ect so that it spaces the flange outwards so that the Nut will tighten up ? Or is there a better way |

Or is there a better way You need to use WT leafy flanges, a WT jackshaft, and a WT front drive shaft. The coily and WT flange patterns are the same, but the transfer case itself is not as long from front to back, meaning that the coily jack shaft and front shaft are too long to fit with a leafy case. |
