its supposedly gives you better economy and power

what do you guys think a worthy 30 bucks spent or a hoax that will destroy sierra?

its not so much a hoax as just a bit ambitious

the air fuel mix being forced into the engine does benefit from being swirled around, it helps mix it evenly and also helps with combustion.

but its a pretty exact science and you need to get the right amount of swirl to see any amount of gains, get it wrong and you could well setup eddies in the intake tract and reduce flow.

like I said I had one in my sierra and it might of made a small difference to power delivery (felt to have more down low and less up high) but didnt affect fuel usage at all, exact same one in Bruces GV made a massive difference to economy

took some calculations today and my sierra is at about 10l/100km

I just got one to try as well - it will be interesting to see if it makes any difference to my vit. I have snorkel and K&N filter and that has made a big difference. I was more interested in the power boost they claim.
Will fit it in the next few weeks.
I have just got my arm out of a sling after having my collar bone fitted with a nice little metal plate and six screws, so I am taking it easy.

In my oppinion, all of these sort of things are a rip off! if there was an easy way to make your car more econimical and powerfull, car companies would invest another $30 on a new car and charge $1000 more for it!!! i think a more wise investment would be at the local bottleshop........

I broke that when I broke the seven ribs and my shoulder blade and did a bit of other frame and body damage. That was seventeen months ago.
