Bought a cheap 2.5L engine for the GV & new it had to have a bit of TLC before it went in. Upon stripping the engine ( high 200,000ks) it still has the cross hatching in the bores, water pump looks like a new one, but is a tad notchy so new one please. Biggest problem is the valves which I will see if I can lap back in.... if not I do have a second set of heads. Everything inside looks fairly fresh even though it's not, Shows what a well serviced engine is capable of. Will get some pics tomorrow!!
