Hey boys and girls

im just looking for the basics on the gti motor conversion, im struggling to find the simple info on here like does a sierra 5 match straight up or do u need a adapter plate? are engine mounts the same ect.

Bolts up to both. you'll likely need to change the fly wheel to sierra.

Yep just finished my conversion it is amazing it has double the power you use the standard mounts and just bolt them to the block you need to put Sierra sump and pickup on gti engine and flywheel make shaw you have the whole loom ready and if it's the mk1 you can get a right angle dizzy but if it's the mk2/3 you need to other cut fire wall or get mazda 323 dizzy cap and rotor button and bolt them on to clear firewall you will also need custom extractors so they clear the engine mount and if you want to run an engine driven fan you need to put the Sierra water pump on the gti engine
