FInally got the 4AGZE zook going, tipped it over on the first day didnt even get an hour out of it
Silly thing is I was in 2d gear 2WD on a bit of clay, it spun round so I clutched it didnt want to stall it, and as it went round and hit the dry it went over on its side
I was gobsmacked that it went over so easy, even though I have heard you cant own one without rolling it.
Got me a bit worried that it tipped over so easy, I do have the young kids in the back most times and I wasnt even being a tosser.
So what do I do, wide track diffs and offset rims?
I am not sure that 100mm in the track is going to make too much difference, I am thinking its a weight problem its just too light
Missus said sell it, what other alternative do I have to make it a bit more stable?
tks

Be more vigilant. Learn the car. Get WT diffs, offset rims. Extend the wheelbase as much as you are able.
I rolled mine the other week. It was just a case of bad luck, i've driven crazier stuff in worse situations and been fine, but it was something easy and silly that sent me over. Don't blame the car entirely.

They don't just fall over. You have to make them. Learn how to drive within the limits of the car. You'll get used to it.
Compared to most cars, Sierra's have a narrow track and a short wheelbase and need to be driven accordingly.

had I known it would have fallen over I wouldnt have just put the clutch in I am sure if I kept it spinning around it wouldnt have gone over it was also 60km wind gusts that day, we couldnt open the door to climb out!
just shocked at how easy it happens I guess.

is it this car? If so 120Kw + lift + NT + high roof= flopped. I'd imagine if the car still had a carby 1.3 in it, you'd have to drive it VERY hard to get it into a situation where it could be in a big enough slide to get tripped up. My guess is all that available power is going to get the car sideways really easily. You've almost TRIPLED the power available. WT axles are worth it, but they won't make your car unflippable, it will mostly mean you will be going even faster when it goes over. I've done heaps of really stupid things on dirt in a Sierra but I've not gone over on flat ground. Steve.

mmmmmmm you were mucking about and it ended up on it's side and it's the car's design fault ...........................
Wide Track rocks, but it doesn't stop you being a dick.

thats the car.. its just a bit dented now on one side!
Would have done the same thing if it was a 1L though, the wheels were not spinning it was wet clay top hard base with hard edges, the arse just overtook the front in 2WD
Anyway, lesson learned, on the hunt for some diffs and a new wider set of wheels!
