Would seem that 235/70x16 fill the guards nicely but touch with standard suspension..... Looks like I gotta go taller for now until joe finishes the portals . So only looking for a small lift with moderate flex Don't wanna root around with diff drop crap.
So who recommends what??????????

A 40mm lift is about all you will need unlessyou plan to run silly tyres like me.

The main limiting factor in the back is the length of the shocks. You will gain more travel by using shock extension brackets. in the front there is not alot you can do to gain more travel. lockers help alot.

Dont stress about the slow response. most GV owners are family people and dont troll the site like the sierra and Vit drivers do so it may take a while.

Agree, 40mm lift is good... but, depending on the load rating of the springs, you may get more then 40mm lift, i have Tough Dog 40mm springs, $110 each, got 50mm rear, down to 40mm with all my tools and crap, the front got more than 60mm to start, down to about 50mm now, but front still looks higher than the back, hehe...

As for more travel on the front, remove the sway bar, i broke mine on a 4wheelin trip, took it off, and got alot more traction, i get full drop/extension of my Ironman extended travel struts now, maxes them out... just rolls a bit more on road, nothing to bad though... hehe...

Except me, I'm 17

40mm should be enough with 235/60R16. I have 2" coil spacers under mine with 225/75R16s and sits quite nicely.. But I'm putting another 50mm dobinson coils under it soon from dank

Even with the 25mm coil spacers at the front my CV's seem to be fine, but diff drops are next on the list..

Definitely need new rear shocks with 40mm coils as they'll be about 15mm from topping out. Not sure about the front but I'm guessing the same.

Most the people i know with GV's either have a family, or are thinking of starting a family. The GV is prob the most family friendly Suzuki there is. Hell ive got 2.
