Hi everyone,

Im trying to chase up an issue with the idle on my 1996 G16B Vitara (Turboed)

I have check for Air leaks and have fixed them.

The cold idle works. and the idle slows to 800 when warm.
The ICS is works as it engauges with the aircon. ( Does change to about 2000 RPM though) If i move the TPS to Lowest adjustment and wind the idle crew all the way in I get 800 RPM idle and the correct increase in RPM with turning the aircon on however when I turn the aircon off the the car always stalls and does not catch any RMP drop o idle.

I have cleaned the ERG Valve and piping in to the intake manifold
The TPS reads perfect with the Engine off. However with it running the signal is jumpy and occasional drops to 0 rpm for a split second
I have an A/F gauge and a Piggyback computer that reads the TPS signal In % of throttle

The issue that I am getting is that the idle increases and decreases with the O2 sencor (I am thing it might be a faulty TPS).

Any help/advise would be great

Is there someone In Perth that has a TPS I cam borrow to swap out just to check if this is the issue?
