Ok i'm not entirely sure when the models changed over different styles of cabin filter's but mine is a 2003 and it has the one piece horizontal filter, some have a 2 piece vertical filter. You can find out by pulling out your glovebox. Now suzuki want $65 for this filter, i went to my local parts place (sprints auto parts) and they dont have a listing in the various filter manufacturers books. So i took mine in and we measured them up, later models like the current shape have a thinner one that is slightly bigger. But we found one so close that it fits great. RYCO Part # RCA100P, Ford falcon BA. $26.00 Behind the glovebox is this door, pull the two tabs at the bottom and slide the door down. ![]() ![]() ![]() Comparison ![]() ![]() You can see that its slighly bigger but because it has soft sides with foam it fits well and doesn't seem to have any gaps. The Ryco has which way the filter should face printed on it. ![]() At $26 i'll make sure mine is renewed alot more. Hope this helps |

They didn't have listing in the westfil book we looked at. There is alot of blanks for cabin filters in the filter books Westfil wouldve had a BA falcon one no doubt, but he had the ryco sitting there. |

Does your GV have the updated dash? If so that is when the pollon filter changed design. Updated GVs have a different heater fan setup to the pre update models. |

Yeah mines the updated dash. Just took it for a spin and the air coming through the fresh air vent is so much better. Suzuki said when i rang for a price that most people never change them because of the price, and no wonder at $65 for a paper filter. But he said they don't realise just how much better it all works when the filter is clean, and how much crap they stop. I always drive with the fresh air open so i'll keep an eye on it. |

Just thought I'd add onto this thread that the Fram CF10731 (sold on Amazon as fitting the later model GV's/ XL-7's) does not fit! It's too wide and I had to do considerable mods to get it in. I wish I had seen about the BA Falcon filter fitting before buying it..... |
