Hi All.
I got new 3Dr model last week and wonder if anyone made any sound improvement mods. I guess I would need to see if amp-r is accessible and if it has any spare outputs for a sub and component speakers. The easiest part would be to get good speakers and replace OEM one. I have reasonably good speakers Pioneer 3 in 1, but I don't know the original speakers dimensions and how easy to get there without breaking plastic bits in the door card. Pls help. I modded Camry last time 7 years ago so I know the stuff.

They should still be a 6" speaker in the doors, so a set of splits would be nice...

Dynamat or similar inside all panels and on the floor will make a big difference to interior noise levels/sound quality.

Yep, I replaced factory speakers with nice Italian made HSK 165 splits from ebay / phonix_fire, and installed dynomat stuff in both doors covering all holes. So all together I spent just a bit above $200 and enjoy it.
I would leave the rear speakers as I guess getting them out of the panels (GV- 3DR) might not be easy. The stock HU is powerful enough for HSK165 that actually surprised me as I was considering an amp as plan B. I might add a slimline or tube shaped sub with built-in amp later though don't know where to place it to get any benefit out of it.
