i have a spotty i got ages ago to use as a reverse/work light for the rear of my jimny. i making the pole is the easy part, just want to know how other people have run their wires for their lights. |

Basically, you will need the following... SPDT Centre Off switch Relay Fuse Suitable wire for light current BATT (power) Reverse wire Earth Can you draw a circuit that will work for you? |

i know how to wire it i just wanna know how to get the wire out the back door to the light. should have been a bit clearer in my first post. |

Run the cable through to the hinge side of the door and behind the interior panel, feed it through the rubber boot conduit to the door, drill a hole in the door's outer skin and stick a rubber grommet in the hole. Don't drill into your spare |

ok cool, i was hoping to avoid drilling a hole but if i have to i have to. rubber grommet and lots of silicone |

Get one of the grommets that are closed and put a single hole in it with a nail. Force the cable through the tiny hole and it shouldn't need silicone.
