My 1986 Sierra won't start, it was running rough before it died. I have fuel, air but no spark, I have replaced the coil, points, condenser, rotor button, cap, leads and plugs. Is their anyone who can help me?

What motor? I thought all G13's were electronic (no points)?

I call BULLSHIT... You couldn't have replaced the points or condensor..
Scrawny is right 1.3's are all electronic and there were no 1.0 Sierra's or Maruti's in 86.

F10a in 86... :?

OK..

Is there power into and out of the ballast resistor and if so what voltages?

Yeah I was shocked at first when I saw it was a f10a. Stupid question but is the ballast resistor sitting above the coil, if so then no their is nothing

Ballast is normally mounted on coil or close to it.
No power to the ballast means you need to look a bit further to see if there is power at the ignition switch.
Run a wire from battery + to the ballast and see if the car starts. This will at least tell you that everything from the ballast to the spark plugs is working.

Just curious, but I'm still getting spark at the points. Anyone have any ideas.

You said earlier you have no power at the ballast...
If there is no power into or out of the ballast there will be NO spark at the points.

Solved that there was a dirty wire so I replaced it and got power. Now I'm back to square one

If you have spark at the points you can test the coil by removing the coil lead from the dissy cap and place it near an earth.
Reove dissy cap , turn ignition on and turn engine so points are closed. Flick them open with a paddle pop stick or similar and you should get a spark out of the coil lead.

As far as it not running...
What is the point gap set at?
Are the points burned/pitted?
Is the spring button for the rotor in good nic?
