Are there any differences between a swb tow bar and a Lwb tow bar for sierras? I have just picked up a Lwb and can buy a tow bar off a swb. Will it fit? |

No, I don't think so. There's more rear overhang on a LWB so the back of the chassis is quite different. Note also that NT and WT towbars are different. Steve. |

The ones I have seen are, WT ones bolt to the four large diameter holes aft of the shackle hanger. As the shackles are under the chassis on a NT, there's no corresponding holes on a NT. I imagine that means a NT bar might fit a WT, but a WT bar won't fit a NT. I guess there will have been a few different designs of bar over the years too. Steve. |

I have a NT LWB tow bar and it doesn't bolt up to the WT spot. But suits the chassis width. |
