Post subject:  Lovell springs for vitara

Has anyone used or tryed Lovell raised springs in a swb vitara
Any feedback would be appreciated as I am looking into a set
The price is right , but personally never used lovells before
They claim 30mm lift

Hey mate, put them in my 91 vitara a couple of months ago. I got a decent amount of height from them, but was in a rush so didn’t take any measurements :( They ride a bit rough on the standard vitara wheels and you will definitely need adjustable front camber bolts.

Thanks , I have camber bolts in at moment with flipped strut tops and 15mm front + 30mm rear spacers , and will remove these when springs go in ,,, got commo shocks on rear ,, did you have to put a tailshaft spacer in ? Or any others like brake lines etc ?

Drive shaft and brake lines should be OK with a 30mm lift.

Unclip the front lines from the point where they mount to the body (the next one upstream from the strut, next to the top of the spring):

If your rears get tight at full droop you can release them from the control arm retainer and/or the clip on the chassis:
