ive cracked the shitz with the webber and have decided that im gonna fix it once and for all! step 1: replacing all the vacume lines step 2: pod filter (temporary) step 3: new air corrector jets step 4: do the flip around to stop the hill problem step 5: have it tuned at the moment im at step 1: i have got myself some new vacume line and am about to replace the old loose fitting shit! but i need to know what lines i can piss of completely and cap off, and what lines i cant. (idealy would like to know what each one does aswell) so ive included a picture bellow to assist! so if anyone can help me in identifing what can and cant go i would greatly apreciate it ![]() A: wont have any were to go when the pod goes on. but upon disconnecting i found that it causes revs to raise and it to run weirdly B: obviously can get pucked off along with the hot intake pipe and all that shit! C: runs to the distributor and i dont know what it does so i imagine it will have to stay? D:runs to a sensor of some sort E: is a little one that re connect back to the intake directly underneath its self! if anyone could assist me with this it would be realy apreciated cheers troy |

Keep c, piss everything else off, make sure you cap the now leftover ports on the manifold A and B are to suck warm air when the intake temp is cold, the thing they go into on the airbox allows vacuum to pass when cold to pull on the flap thing that B goes too, without the pipe going from it to over the exhaust its doing nothing anyway D is EGR, under certain conditions (cruising usually) allows some exhaust back into the intake for emissions, its probably blocked anyway E is the vacuum and switching for the factory carb idle up, so no good to you anyway. You could leave D in to make it look like you are trying to keep the emissions stuff hooked up but youll get pinged for the weber anyway |

No, you go to the damn parts shop and buy some caps and you do it properly, dont leave your heap of shit looking like a heap of shit, make it neat and youll be more likely to keep making shit neat and it will work properly I spent forever chasing a bit of a miss in my mini from a bit of hose and a bolt not sealing properly |

the caps will be in a little pack with a yellow sticker and Goss written on it more than likely that big hose, you really need the end that goes to teh airbox to be able to breathe still |

probably, see why all that stupid pod filter bullshit is all useless, nowhere to stick all the rest of the junk, plus you get the added bonus of a filtration system that sucks ass too! |

yeah i know the only reason im doing it is coz im told that the webber hat sucks dogs balls! so i wanna try the pod as a temporary measure to see if it makes any difference! as thats the easiest way to get maximum air into the bastard.... but saying that finding a pod filter that fitts in the 55mm hole is a prick of a job meaning ima have to go to one of those hat filter things!!!!! witch are gayer than aids coz it defeats my plan of putting a filter sock (like ya have on dirt bikes) over it for dusty stuff. eventualy ill make a decent hat up to adapt to the sierra air box but i wanna see if it makes a significant difference first |
