Hey guys,

just a general wondering. Does anyone know a mechanic who does roadworthy certificates in the melbourne area? who may be... not so firm as others.
I know the new rules include taking photo's bla bla. Just wonderingWhat are your experiences?

My zook has minor rust, one in the passenger floor.. that is all. apart from that the odd lamps, possible brakes etc.

any recommendations would be great.

you will find it hard now mate.....

they have to take photos of everything and store them for so long.....get a breaking print out....

in saying that they are always people who will turn a blind eye to certain things!

Better just to fix the problems.
I had all that and more on my last sierra, cost about $150 to fix, over looking tire size is one thing, but rust, brakes and lights is another.

wouldnt you rather have a car that is safe?

It could be easy enuff to fix if you have basic welding skills but they might not pick on it you wouldn't beleave what mine past with broken seat mounts that I found after the roady got done but he wasn't picky he's been caught now

alot of mechanics will have a panel beater mate who would do something simple like that for the cost of a slab or two.
