Are the manual gearboxes shared between the J20 and the H20 motors? I'm doing some forward planning for other disasters that might befall me and as there are heaps of SV620s over here that are difficult to sell, I figured I could pick one up cheap and rat it for parts.

SV420 and SV620 are the same gearbox with detachable bellhousings, and the same with the SQ420 box. SQ625 and SQ420D gearboxes are different.

If you find a cheap SQ625/420D, I am after the gear lever and selector housing off the top.

Thanks 303. I'm always on the lookout for stuff but I'm not a wrecker and dont have huge storage. If I find a top section, its yours.
