ok,
so my swb that had my 1.6 baleno motor has been stripped and the parts transfered to my maruti lwb. To get the swb up and running again ive put in a carby 1.6. I got the motor in on the weekend, its still missing a few things like exhaust, alternator, water pump pulley.
When i did the efi conversion i used some of the carby wiring to run back to the glovebox for the ecu. I think ive re wired these ok back to the factory emission control unit (carby) and to the carby plug and idle up plug. ive connected all fuel etc.
It fires up ok with throttle, revs but wont hold idle.

Ive checked the idle solenoid, it working. i tried a 1.3 carby i had, same problem.....
Any suggestions on other things i can check?

Where abouts is the idle jet?

Ok, took to the 1.6 carby. Filled up where the idle solenoid is with carby cleaner, poked a small wire up the idle jet, sprayed every thing with cleaner and blew out with air.
Now have idle
