no they wont fit, use a high steer kit rather then a z link

there cheap for a reason, i used to run a z link on my old spoa 1ltr dangerous! used to bend while driving! dont be cheap get some wt diffs and a hi steer kit dont risk your life and everyone elses on the road, if you cant afford it dont do it, trust me i was the stupid one once who ran a z link, there cheap for a reason!

Post subject:  Re: NT SOA steering ?

nup i dont do anything off that tie down point as the car is stiing in a paddock rotting away, it was a good shackle holder

haha ive seen z links work, sure they are sketchy but they held up.
muz yours was a shit house weak example of one nothing more it was as poorly done as the rest of that rig, your right never again it shouldnt have been on the road lol but if it was braced up and bush only then it woulda been ok in your basher. and i remember towing you with that tie down point so stop telling lies haha.

OP do you drive your rig on the road?if so yeah do it proper may lead to heartache otherwise
if all you have for now is the NT diffs you could get the histeer setup still and make up shorter arms?keeping the right ones for if you come across WT's. ive had a few mates with spoa zuks, some were ridiculous tall floppy things, others were well thought out and seemed to work well.BUT i still like my spua zuks

does anyone still do the old mercedes arm trick?

Post subject:  Re: NT SOA steering ?

appsie :thefinger: lol i never snached tho, an i didnt make the arm, but then i never fixed it....... and yes it was poorly done im not saying it wasent! it looked cool but thats it! if i was to do something like that again id still do the ute swap, but keep it spua on wt diffs and take my time to build it prop not cheep and fast!

i had gearing! 4.88 lj centers, lol as i said if i was to do it again it would not be spoa or 1lt, it would have 6.5's and so on, but im not so nerrrrr lol
