Chilli (1981 SJ40) is pressurizing the cooling system and using a little bit a water and recently a tiny amount of mayonnaise was found under the radiator cap so it's head off time soon. I have the gasket kit for an F8a, will this work with the F10a? If it turns out to be a cracked head, will a F8a head fit and not be detrimental to anything? Where should I look for cracks? Her diffs badly need rebuilding, you can feel the play in the pinion bearing and it has an alarming amount of backlash. Can anyone point me in the direction of a kit to do this? Is it possible to bolt an LJ50 3rd member into the front of a 1l? Am I right in thinking a 1.3l (electronic) dizzy drops in and gives me electronic ignition? Would I be better off with the elec dizzy from a Maruti? What do I need to (and how do I) fit WT flares to a NT? Thanks Hayden |

I have the gasket kit for an F8a, will this work with the F10a? Most of the kit will, I guess your worried about the head gasket which will fit If it turns out to be a cracked head, will a F8a head fit and not be detrimental to anything? Where should I look for cracks? heads, cams, valves etc are identical. Not sure about cracks, but I have allot I've pulled off F's which have corroded out between the water jacket and the oil galleries.... Her diffs badly need rebuilding, you can feel the play in the pinion bearing and it has an alarming amount of backlash. Can anyone point me in the direction of a kit to do this? Let me know if you find a kit Is it possible to bolt an LJ50 3rd member into the front of a 1l? not the same casting, but still 100% interchangeable. LJ80 can be used too, so can Super Carry (actually the same casting as 410) Am I right in thinking a 1.3l (electronic) dizzy drops in and gives me electronic ignition? Would I be better off with the elec dizzy from a Maruti? Yep, Anita's electronic ignition is from a WT G13. I put the vaccum advance on the charcoal canister port on the manifold, and had to change a bit of wiring (real easy). Worst thing is I can't stop the 1.3 dizzy leaking oil out of the vacuum advance solenoid thing, but mines on an F8 dizzy housing and pointing sideways What do I need to (and how do I) fit WT flares to a NT? Don't; make some tube guards Thanks Hayden |

It's a Suzuki, you'l never beat the leaks. What do I need to (and how do I) fit WT flares to a NT? Don't; make some tube guards Thanks Hayden |

Let me know if you find a kit Still no crush tube though Curious part interchangeability; when I did the air lockers in Anita, I used a pair of Sierra front wheel bearing kits to change the carrier bearings... worked out cheaper and came with a spare seal for the hubs. |
