| Post subject: | Heater/Fan controls not working |
My heater and fan controls do not work at all, the heater tap seems to be working and the recirc switch works and so do the vent selection. But there is no back light and the fan does not work. Is there a hidden fuse somewhere or a plug for the whole heater harness that may be unplugged? Its starting to get very annoying not having a heater and no demister |

Howdy mate, no secret fuse just the one with all the other fuses (I would say this is it, make sure you measure it with a multimeter or substitute a known good one in, not just look at it). And the plug is a 6 spade connecter plug from memory, if you are looking at the centre console in the car its located to the right side (behind the dash of course) of it about half way up next to the steel tube cross member, maybe a bit forward of it (looking the same way the car drives). Better way would be to find the fan motor (can see it from the drivers foot well) and follow it back. |

thanks very much. any idea as to which fuse it is, im almost tempted to buy a bag of fuses and replace every one with whats listed on the cover. some weird shit happens when fuses blow, like the clock turning off when u brake and the high beam dash light coming on. |
